Individual psychotherapy sessions can offer a chance to pause and reflect within a non-judgemental space. The therapeutic relationship is key to this experience and encourages autonomy and respect to your experience. Only online and phone sessions now available during covid-19 pandemic.
Primary School Drop-In
Over the last two and half years, I have offered lunchtime drop-ins to children at primary schools in Brent and Enfield as part of a wider service. The 15 minute appointment sessions can be requested by pupils to talk about any concerns or worries they may have, for example Covid 19 anxieties, socialisation issues at school, or problems at home. They are not therapy but provide a safe environment for children to express their feelings and feel listened to.
‘Then the time came when the risk it took
To remain tight in a bud was more painful
Than the risk it took to blossom.’
About Psychotherapy/ Counselling
Counselling / psychotherapy can be a place to explore issues of concern to you. We will work together to examine and uncover root issues that are causing distress in your life or relationships.
This process can also support personal development and self-care. Psychotherapy and counselling can help you to overcome unhelpful behaviours and life patterns. By having this space we can acknowledge and challenge these behaviours as a catalyst for change.
People also may seek counselling for a range of reasons such as: abandonment, addictions, anger, anxiety/fears/phobias, bereavement/loss/grief, burn-out, childhood neglect, chronic pain/illness, depression, domestic violence, eating disorders, family break-up, guilt/shame, low self-esteem, panic attacks, post-traumatic stress, relationship difficulties, self-harm, sexual abuse, and stress.
