About Psychotherapy/ Counselling
Counselling / psychotherapy can be a place to explore issues of concern to you. We will work together to examine and uncover root issues that are causing distress in your life or relationships.
This process can also support personal development and self-care. Psychotherapy and counselling can help you to overcome unhelpful behaviours and life patterns. By having this space we can acknowledge and challenge these behaviours as a catalyst for change.
People also may seek counselling for a range of reasons such as: abandonment, addictions, anger, anxiety/fears/phobias, bereavement/loss/grief, burn-out, childhood neglect, chronic pain/illness, depression, domestic violence, eating disorders, family break-up, guilt/shame, low self-esteem, panic attacks, post-traumatic stress, relationship difficulties, self-harm, sexual abuse, and stress.
